What I Offer You.
I have over 35 years experience in making custom hiking boots with extensive training in anatomy, gait analysis, and kinesiology. My vita includes eight years of training with Austrian, German and Georgian bootmakers. I am intimately connected with a handcraft tradition that goes back hundreds of years, using techniques refined by thousands of shoe and bootmakers over the centuries and patiently handed down from master to apprentice. As a result, my craft is not reverse-engineered from factory bootmaking (very different from handcrafting boots), nor from taking apart old boots and “figuring out” how to do it.
